Yesenia's Blog 1 (Reflect upon the past few weeks of school)

      Learning English is always fun even though sometimes can be very challenging. Last past two weeks, fluency class had been challenging because of the poetry and literary terms. Making and to understand the poetry is very hard because it is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm. My biggest challenge in poetry was to understand the idea of it, for me to answer the question. I think I can understand a little bit better than last weeks; in addition, I also realized that in favor to understand the idea of the poetry, I need to understand the words, so I am now trying my best to build my vocabulary skill. The other reasons why I said that last two weeks was challenging because I could not understand all of the literary devices; however, now I can understand most of the literary devices such as simile, metaphor, allusion, alliteration, personification, and onomatopoeia. Even though last two weeks were hard for me,  I will get a better result in the future from all of the weakness that I've faced. Learning English is fun like planting a flower in the garden. Sometimes I faced the storm in learning English, but I know that the storm will make my future bright.
